Mirtiotissa transform itself year by year. There was a time it was completely sandy with some big rocks around but there was also a time when sand was completely disappeared.
Mirtiotissa is a considered as a sandy paradise surrounded by the majestic landscape of lush green cliffs and crystalline waters. It is really small with crystal waters, surrounded by high cliffs covered with trees and shrubs. At the beach there are not any facilities (a cantina and some sunbeds maybe) and the access is not very easy due to the road has no asphalt. Mirtiotissa is the right place for those who love quite beaches and want to relax in a beautiful environment, lay under the sun and swim in a fantastic water. We should inform you that Mirtiotissa beach, unofficially is considered to be a nudist beach. Also you will need to walk on a steep path down the beach and maybe this is not the best for children. When summer wind Mistral is blowing it might get risky to swim there.
