Rovinia is a secluded beach about 400 m from the village of Liapades. There are no road signs in the village so you should know in advance how to get there.
On the way to Liapades Beach, there is a supermarket called Athena. On its left side you will see a narrow road going up – take it. In about 50 m you will reach a small crossroad – take the right direction. As soon as you turn, you will see a dirt road on you right side, and on your left side there is a small sign on a tree saying: Rovinia Beach. Turn right and go down the dirt road. Drive carefully because it is narrow and slopes down. In about 300-400 m you will reach a small parking lot – the road ends and you should leave your vehicle there (if you are not on foot, of course). Behind the parking lot there is a path with staircases going down to Rovinia Beach. Destination reached!
The beach is sandy, with flat smooth pebbles near the shore. The sea goes deep only a few meters from the shore so be careful with children. On Rovinia there are no sunshades and umbrellas but there is a bathing cabin. A canteen boat comes every day in the summer season and offers ice cream and refreshments. Also, there is a small cave in the rocks on the beach which children would love to explore.
Rovinia stands out for its unique natural beauty that attracts many visitors who want to relax in the view of this stunning scenery. Tourist facilities would definitely disturb this unspoiled and tranquil environment as a result you will not find any, but the cave shaped rocks on the sides offer some natural shade. Rovinia is a fabulous spot with blue green exotic waters and a breathtaking rocky landscape with vast vegetation on top of it. The nature lovers will surely appreciate this green paradise.
